Wear Management

Guido Walt, Wear-Management is a micro enterprise with only 1 to 2 persons. It was founded in 2002; it is working within several national and international networks.

2009, Guido Walt, wear-management founded the World Maintenance Forum (2009 Guangzhou, 2011 Beirut) for sharing best practice.

Guido Walt, Wear-Management is specialised in Industrial Maintenance Procedures and Maintenance / Repair Welding. It is promoting Industrial Maintenance through technical consulting, education and training.

Since 2003, Guido Walt, Wear-Management is representing Switzerland in the frame of CEN/TC 319 Maintenance and as such chairing CEN/TC 319, WG 9 "Qualification of Maintenance Personnel.

Since 2004, Guido Walt, Wear-Management is an official training partner for the periodical training of Swiss Crane Experts, organized by Schweizerischer Baumeisterverband, Sursee (Switzerland).
Since 2008, Guido Walt is a lecturer for "Maintenance Standards" at the University of Applied Sciences Zurich.

Since 1992, about 2000 Maintenance Technicians and 300 Maintenance Supervisors (EQF Level 5) have been trained in Switzerland. There exists an excellent network for developing test markets. Further, there are excellent links to Industrial companies and the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology - all accessible links will be use.

2008, we developed the MFS Training Days together with MFS (Maintenance and FM Society of Switzerland).

2009, we focused the MFS Training Days on "Automation". Needs for developing this training exists in whole Europe. We would like to cover part of these needs through this project.

Actually, we participate in the project LLP – Ldv/TOI/SE/09/1190, project number – 2009 – 1 – SE – LE005 – 02270 / Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation. The conclusions are similar: More education in the field of Automation!

We will assure the know how transfers for realizing sustainable results in collaboration with professional schools and industry.
